Affordable Pet Doors Melbourne offers a service of supplying and fitting full length patio pet doors for glass sliding doors. The door is a complete insert with a pet door at the bottom, that fits into the bottom and top rails of the sliding door. The patio pet door is installed against the end of the sliding panel and the sliding door is then bolted in next to it. We offer a service of putting the patio pet door together, installing it and ensuring that the sliding door is then securely in place. This is a less expensive alternative to having a pet door put into a full glass sliding door, which generally costs around $700 to $800.

Because this is locked into place and generally can’t be reopened, we recommend that this is only an option if there is another door for people to exit through. Please see the photo below for an example of a patio pet door installed.
